Where children learn to read on the laps of caring adults.

Take Action Today!

What We Do

Plant a Seed... READ enrolls children in the Imagination Library.

Families read to their children daily, encouraging language skills.

Families read the books multiple times to develop early literacy skills.

Early readiness skills are developed for a strong foundation in Kindergarten.

Who are we?

Plant a seed... Read is a proactive nonprofit that supports early literacy development with all children from birth to age 5 by providing age-appropriate books once a month for $30/child per year. It is the umbrella under which other literacy programs have been designed. Together, we strive to enrich the lives of preschool children in literacy and social/emotional skills.

Every donation to our program helps develop a lifelong love for learning and helps create stronger communities. Please click the link below to help change a young child's life forever!
